Heads up Football is about safety of our athletes.  Parents and players are more aware of football safety than ever.  More than 7,000 youth and high school football programs across the country have adopted the Heads Up Program providing the highest standards when it comes to the safety of the players.

The Heads UP Program is a program that was started by USA Football. USA Football is an independent nonprofit organization.  That is the official youth football development partner of the NFL, its 32 teams and the NFL Players Association.

The FHC Jr Spartan program ensures all coaching staff is certified in the Heads Up Program. There are 6 key components; Concussion Recognition and Response, Heat Preparedness and hydration, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Proper Equipment Fitting, Shoulder Tackle, and Blocking And Defeating Blocks.
